New to Yoga? Congratulations! You’ve stepped onto the path of yoga! In this two hour workshop you will learn the foundation of alignment, anatomy, and breathing so you can begin practicing yoga with the knowledge and skill you need to stay injury free and motivated to reach the next level. We will focus on basic asana (poses), pranayama breathe and relaxation. This fun and educational workshop will get you moving and breathing, leaving you relaxed and stress-free.

SUN SALUTATION YOGA WORKSHOP

The Sun Salutation Pose, also known as Salute to the Sun and Surya Namaskar, is a flowing series of 12 poses which help improve strength and flexibility of the muscles and spinal column. This pose also warms up the body and tones the abdominal muscles. In this workshop we will break down the specific poses (asanas) of the sun salutation focusing on alignment, position, and the purpose of sun salutation: honoring the sun through this dynamic asana sequence Surya Namaskar! With the knowledge of each pose, utilizing the proper placement of the breath, we will develop a single graceful flow that energizes the heart and awakens the body.
The workshop will focus on finding a safe pose for everybody, variations and modifications will be offered throughout the workshop.
This workshop is open to all levels.

BECOMING A WARRIOR! A Standing Pose Workshop
Join Erin, RYT as she teaches you to stand on your legs.
Man walks on two legs and standing tall, balanced and confident on those legs is key to obtaining strength in your yoga practice and in life. In this workshop, Erin will focus on proper alignment, positioning, and energy flow for each of the most practiced standing poses. Standing with Mountain Pose (Tadasana), the curriculum will then move through Warrior I, II, and III, Triangle, Crescent, Chair and finally,
standing twists, and balancing poses.
The workshop will focus on finding a safe pose for everybody, variations and modifications will be offered throughout the workshop.

Strong Core and Open Hips Workshop is for you! Learn to cultivate intelligent and integrated alignment for a stronger core and flexible hips. Develop awareness of your body in space and discipline the mind to quiet the inner critic. We will use our own body’s resistance thought movement and breathe to soothe tight muscles in the back, hips and legs while practicing poses to strengthen the core. A workshop that emphasizes significant components for successful athletes. Teach your body to perform multiple independent yet related motions all at the same time while maintaining mental focus. Great for ALTHETES, GOLFERS, RUNNERS and anyone looking to develop a stronger mind, body awareness.
NO previous yoga experience required!
