Intro To Aerial Silks
Join us for our Aerial Silks Intro class and we guarantee you will be up in the air in less than an hour. Each class begins with stretching and strengthening exercises aided by our aerial silks hammocks. Then you will learn, practice & drill basic aerial silks hammock moves. You may also learn beginner combinations or routines. Whether this is your first time or you are a regular silks student, you will benefit from this class!
Aerial Hammock (Aerial Sling)
Learn to fly in our mixed level aerial silks classes! Each class begins with stretching and strengthening exercises (stolen from our Aerial Yoga class of course) aided by our aerial silks hammocks. Then you will learn inversions, poses, combinations, drops and more. This class is so much fun you won't even realize that you are working out!
Beginners are welcome! Basic Aerial Hammock skills are helpful but not required. We do recommend that you take our Intro To Aerial Silks class at least once before joining this class, but if that doesn't work with your schedule, no problem - feel free to try this class!
Learn complete Aerial Hammock choreographies in our Aerial Dance class! You will go beyond simply executing moves & tricks by taking what you have learned and making it into an act. This class will focus on smooth transitions, creativity and showmanship. To see some of the routines we have taught in class, please visit our videos page.
Beginners are welcome! Basic Aerial Hammock skills are helpful but not required. We do recommend that you take our Intro To Aerial Silks class at least once before joining this class (or attend an aerial silks class elsewhere), but if that doesn't work with your schedule, no problem - feel free to try this class!
Aerial Silks: Beyond Beginner
This intensive aerial hammock class weaves together basic/transitional moves, inversions, flips, standing poses, and advanced tricks. After a thorough warm-up and stretching, aerialists will progress through a planned sequence of moves with ever-increasing difficulty in order to build muscles and endurance. Emphasis will include performing each pose left-handed and right-handed to achieve a balanced work-out and symmetry. We highly recommend that you attend at least 1 of our other silks classes prior to attending this class (or attend an aerial hammock class elsewhere).
Our Aerial Sampler class includes instruction on Aerial Silks (split silks), Aerial Hammock & Aerial Hoop (Lyra). Students will be able try out different types of equipment, practice, or ask questions on how to learn a specific move. This class is not as formally taught as our other classes, but will include a group warmup and instruction on all the different types of equipment. No prior aerial experience is necessary to join this class!
Get toned and fit to make those pole & silks moves easier! We'll work out your core, arms and legs while using the pole and silks as our fitness aid. Whether you want to make inverts easier or just want to tone up this class is for you. All fitness levels welcome. Please bring in a resistance band or two and some light weights if you have them (some will be provided if you don't have any). This class is great for pole dancers and aerial silks students.
Aerial Stretch & Tone (Aerial Yoga)
Combining yoga with aerial silks acrobatics, this class allows you to stretch and tone your body while suspended in the air. Aerial Stretch & Tone prevents back strain by strengthening your core muscles without compressing your spine. Aided by our aerial silk hammocks, you will counteract gravity and achieve challenging stretches and inversions. Any level student is welcome and will benefit from this class, including beginner and advanced aerial students as well as those with no aerial experience at all.
Aerial Hoop (Lyra)
Come fly with us! Aerial Hoop (also known as Lyra, Aerial Ring or Cerceau) is a circular steel apparatus resembling a hula hoop suspended from the ceiling, on which circus artists may perform aerial acrobatics. In this class you will learn Aerial Hoop basics such as mounting the hoop, posing, spinning and moving within it. All fitness levels and all shapes and sizes are welcome - no experience is necessary! Aerial Hoop classes are great for building core strength and increasing your flexibility.
Open Aerial Silks / Playtime
Join us for our open aerial silks "playtime" workshop & practice session. This class is moderated but not formally taught. An instructor will be there to help you and answer any questions you may have. Practice your skills, work on your routines, or just workout & have fun!
