Get an awesome total body workout on a 6" wide balance beam that is barely 2" off the floor! Using the balance beam makes any workout much more effective as your core is engaged at all times in order to keep your balance. You will use every muscle in your body - including your mind!
Balance training is one of the most popular ways to improve muscular endurance. In this class you will not only improve your balance and muscular endurance, but also your posture, coordination, grace, flexibility and body awareness. This is a great workout on its own, but it is also a wonderful complement to our other classes that require core strength, balance and flexibility such as pole dance, aerial silks & yoga, bellydance and flamenco dance.
Any level student of any age is welcome and will benefit from this class, join any time!
Flamenco combines acoustic guitar playing, singing, chanting, dancing and staccato handclapping. The flamenco dancer performs with passion, fervor, even tortured expressions but always striving for grace and dignity.
Learn to understand and become comfortable with the different styles and the basic steps of flamenco dance.
Come with or without a partner
The dancing in Bollywood films incorporates various dance forms and is a fusion of classical and popular styles (i.e. classical Indian dance, folk dance, bhangra, middle eastern/bellydance, hip hop, latino, etc.). Bollywood is a very expressive dance as the songs and dance movements often comment on the action taking place in the movie. Hip Hop Bellydance is held on Tuesdays at 7:45pm. Blending hip hop moves such as waving, liquid, popping, strobing, tutting and gliding/floating into bellydance moves creates a powerful and fun style of dancing. Click here for more info >>
